Australia Awards scholars from Indonesia and PNG joined the Introduction to On Award Enrichment and Professional Networking Workshops on Saturday 28 July 2018 in Adelaide. Facilitated by Michael Bracher On Award Enrichment Adviser from Australia Awards in Indonesia (AAI) and Natasha Munasinghe from Sydney-based The Frank Team, the Workshop provides commencing scholars with the opportunity to prepare for professional engagement in Australia. Scholars from Flinders University, The University of Adelaide and The University of South Australia actively participated in the Workshops, sharing their experiences after two months living in Adelaide and discussing with the facilitators the ways and means to professionally enrich their time in Australia outside their immediate academic environment. Michael Bracher stated, “It’s always a pleasure to meet Adelaide-based Australia Awards scholars who usually develop quite quickly a sense of belonging to the Adelaide community”.
The Introduction to On Award Enrichment and Professional Linkages Workshops for commencing AAI scholars have concluded now for 2018 and will recommence in January and February 2018. Further information on AAI On Award Enrichment is available on the AAI website.
