General requirements
The LPDP-Australia Awards Scholarships applicants must meet all eligibility requirements detailed below:
- Have a minimum GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) from their relevant undergraduate qualification
- Meet the minimum English language requirement of IELTS 6.5 (with no band less than 6.0), equivalent to TOEFL iBT 84 (with a minimum of 21 in all sub-tests), and PTE Academic 58 (with no communicative skill score less than 50). All test results must be current (within one year of the closing date of application)
- Must not exceed the age of 42 years by the 31st of December in the year of application.
Once selected, successful applicants will be required to meet the following criteria prior to mobilisation to Australia:
- Participate in a prescribed program of Pre-Departure training (in Bali)
- Be offered a place by an Australian university
- Take the scholarship in the year offered
- Obtain a valid Australian student visa
- Where applicable, scholarship recipients who are civil servants (Pegawai Negeri Sipil (PNS) are required to obtain endorsement from the Ministry of State Secretariat (Kemensetneg) to study overseas
- Participate in an individualised assessment to identify reasonable accommodations and adjustments (for people with disability) overseas
