At the recent “Contemporary Islam in Indonesia and Australia Seminar”, Dr Amelia Fauzia, lecturer at UIN Jakarta and Senior Research Fellow at the Asia Research Institute, National University of Singapore, shed some light into the history and movement of Islamic philanthropy in Indonesia and the region.
