How can higher education use a human-rights approach to better support students with disabilities? Join us for an insightful online lecture titled “How Is a Human-Rights Approach to Disability Applied in Higher Education?” led by Professor Sally Robinson and Jaime Gardner from Flinders University on Friday, 6 December 2024, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Jakarta time).
This lecture will explore how a human-rights framework has recently reshaped Flinders University’s Disability and Community Inclusion programs. Professor Robinson and Ms Gardner will discuss methods for making programs responsive, relevant, and accessible, including how they incorporate leadership by disabled scholars and design accessible learning materials. The session is especially valuable for students, curriculum designers, and professionals engaged in disability policy.
Graduates and scholars of Australian tertiary institutions in Indonesia are encouraged to RSVP by Wednesday, 4 December using this link. Attendees will receive an e-certificate in appreciation of their participation.
