Project Objectives :
- To create a longterm colaboration program for 27 women of "Perkumpulan Perempuan Wirausaha Pangan Indonesia” (who are Australian Awards Alumni) in developing their businesses
- To develop market access for these 27 women in Indonesia and the global market place
Project Description :
This project will develop the Women Foodpreneurs e-Commerce website for promoting and selling PWPI members’ food products. It will strengthen PWPI as a women’s food entreperenur organisation by creating valuable food brands and developing market access in Indonesia and the global market for members’ food products. The project will deliver an integrated program of training activities, mentoring, consultancies, promotion and website development and maintanance. It will include capacity building in leadership, training in production process, and a product expo. The website will create market access and empower PWPI members through sustainable business growth. Through the project members expect to create partnerships with other parties.
Project Beneficiaries :
The direct beneficiaries of the project are the 27 women who belong to "Perkumpulan Perempuan Wirausaha Pangan Indonesia” and their families. The indirect beneficiaries are the Indonesian public, students in Indoensian high schools and universities, and the environment.

Mrs Lanita from Griffith University is an advisor to the project. Other women who are Australia Awards alumni will act as consultant, web developer, vendor, supplier, networking, lecturers.

"Perkumpulan Perempuan Wirausaha Pangan Indonesia” is an organisation founded in 2016 by women alumni of the Australia Awards short course "International Business Readinessfor Women in Global Business (Food Production & Processing).”
