Memberikan Penghargaan kepada Penerima Hibah Alumni Australia, Hadiah Allison Sudradjat dan Hadi Soesastro: Putaran 1, 2025

We are pleased to announce the recipients of the first round of 2025 Australian Alumni Grants and the Allison Sudradjat and Hadi Soesastro Prizes. These prestigious awards reaffirm the enduring partnership between Australia and Indonesia, recognising individuals who are creating meaningful impact through education, collaboration, and community engagement.

The Allison Sudradjat and Hadi Soesastro Prizes provide grant funding to Australia Awards Masters and PhD scholars respectively, supporting them in applying new knowledge, strengthening networks, initiating collaborative projects, and deepening engagement with Australia. These prizes honour the work of Allison Sudradjat and Hadi Soesastro, two influential figures who made significant contributions to education, bilateral cooperation, and regional development.

In this year’s first round, four recipients of Hadi Soesastro Prizes were awarded, and one recipient of Allison Sudradjat Prize. As an Allison Sudradjat Prize recipient, Anselma Ivanawati, shared: 'It is an honour to receive the Allison Sudradjat Prize. This award enables me to attend an international conference to present my research on malaria and immunity, conducted at the Burnet Institute in Australia. I hope it contributes to the development of a malaria vaccine.'

We also extend our congratulations to the ten recipients in this year’s first round of Australian Alumni Grants (AAG). These grants support Indonesia’s alumni community by enabling professional development through activities such as capacity building, research, networking, and community initiatives.

Aldian Vounthougerenth Sitompul, one of the AAG recipients, noted: 'Australia demonstrates its commitment to sustainable investment. This grant allows me to deepen my understanding of climate investing through a cohort course and connect with an international network of professionals.'

The Australian Alumni Grants and the Allison Sudradjat and Hadi Soesastro Prizes reflect the shared values of collaboration, innovation, and leadership. We congratulate all recipients on their achievements and look forward to the positive contributions they will continue to make in their fields and communities.
